My stay at The Siam was absolutely good and luxurious, though there were a few minor hiccups with service. The unique blend of boutique hotel charm and museum-like art collections makes for a truly impressive experience. The service was generally excellent, but I did run into some communication issues during breakfast. Overall, it was a beautiful and relaxing escape from the hustle of Bangkok's streets.

Rooms
10.0
I stayed in a spacious Siam Suite that was lavishly decorated and super comfortable. The enormous bathroom was a dream with its huge freestanding tub and separate shower. I loved the ample space to unpack, making it feel like a home away from home.
Service
8.0
The service was mostly great, especially with the dedicated personal butler who took care of everything from arranging transportation to making dinner reservations. However, I did experience some slow service during breakfast and a couple of misunderstandings with my food orders.
Location
8.0
While some might say the location is a downside, I found it charming to be slightly removed from the chaos of the city. The hotel offers a complimentary boat service along the river, which made getting around super easy and enjoyable. The surrounding area does have some construction noise, but it didn't overshadow the serene vibe of the hotel.
Dining
9.0
Dining was a treat, especially breakfast by the river. The a la carte menu was great, and they were more than willing to whip up authentic Thai dishes upon request. However, they seemed a bit rigid with specific requests during afternoon tea.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities were impressive. They included a lovely spa and a scenic swimming pool next to the river, though I did wish it were a bit wider. Fitness options were decent, even complete with a Thai boxing ring, though individual TV monitors were not operational.

My experience at The Siam was a mix of beautiful aesthetics and frustrating service. The rooms were spacious and well-designed, but the staff could have been more helpful and engaging. While the hotel has character with its unique decor and serene atmosphere, the service fell short, particularly given the high price point.

Rooms
7.0
The Mae Nam Suite I stayed in was spacious with a unique art deco theme, but it was quite dark and lacked sufficient lighting. Some features were not functional, like the lukewarm shower, which was disappointing for a luxury hotel.
Service
5.0
The service was mediocre overall. My butler seemed disinterested and unhelpful, and many staff members struggled with English, leading to miscommunications. I expected more warmth and personalization for our honeymoon, which I did not receive.
Location
6.0
Although it is nestled in a quiet area along the river, I found the location a bit isolating and inconvenient for accessing major attractions in Bangkok.
Dining
6.0
Dining at Deco Bistro was underwhelming with limited breakfast options and average meal quality. While I enjoyed the afternoon tea, the overall dining experience felt inconsistent with what I expected from a luxury hotel.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities, including the spa and pool area, were pleasant, but I didn't get to fully enjoy them during my short stay. However, the hotel does offer unique experiences, like the private tours and riverboat rides.

My stay at The Siam was nothing short of lovely! The spacious garden view room exuded a glamorous 1930s art deco vibe. The butler service was incredibly helpful, even arranging coffee from a local café for me. The only slight hiccup was the bathroom amenities, which could be more luxurious, especially for a hotel of this caliber.

Rooms

The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and featured excellent amenities. I loved the art deco theme, which felt unique and luxurious.
Service

Service was perfect, with my butler going above and beyond to cater to my needs. They truly made my experience feel personalized and special.
Location

Situated away from the hustle and bustle, The Siam offered a serene escape while still providing accessible boat transport to key city attractions.
Dining

Breakfast was excellent, and I highly recommend enjoying a meal by the river. The menu had an appealing mix, though the casual dining options were a bit limited in the evening.
Facilities

The hotel features beautiful public spaces with museum-quality antiques, plus an inviting spa that was a highlight of my stay.

My two-night stay at The Siam felt remarkably long as I transitioned into this serene oasis amidst the bustling city of Bangkok. I enjoyed excellent service from my personal butler, who organized fantastic day trips and dining experiences, yet I did encounter some slow service during breakfast. The peaceful atmosphere and luxurious surroundings made up for this minor inconvenience. 🌟

Rooms

The Siam Suite was beautifully decorated, with a gorgeous bathroom featuring a separate shower and full-sized soaking tub. The high ceilings and antique furnishings added to the luxury of the space.
Service
9.0
The service was mostly perfect, with my butler available at all times to assist. However, the breakfast staff struggled with a couple of my requests, which slightly detracted from the experience.
Location
9.0
Set by the river and a bit away from the central shopping districts, the location provided a peaceful escape. I enjoyed the complimentary boat service and a lovely street food market nearby.
Dining
8.0
Dining was good, with a wide range of fresh options, especially at breakfast where the French toast was lovely! However, I had a couple of mix-ups with my orders that were likely lost in translation.
Facilities
9.0
The hotel featured great amenities, including a beautiful spa and a fitness area with a Muay Thai ring. The only downside was that the bar and other outlets closed early, leaving limited late-night options.

My stay at The Siam was absolutely lovely! The hotel exudes elegance, beautifully combining modern amenities with historical charm. The stunning Courtyard Pool Villa was my personal oasis. However, though the restaurant and bar service was great, the limited late-night options left a bit to be desired.

Rooms

I stayed in the Courtyard Pool Villa, which was a lovely hideaway. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and included modern touches like USB chargers and a record player. I felt utterly comfortable and spoiled!
Service

The service was nothing short of extraordinary! My butler went above and beyond, curating really good day trips and fulfilling my every need with a smile. The staff genuinely made me feel at home.
Location

Located a bit away from the busy city center, The Siam felt like a serene retreat. The hotel's complimentary boat ride made it easy to reach the main attractions while avoiding traffic. It was lovely to return to such a peaceful environment.
Dining

Dining by the river was good, and the breakfast was excellent—a must-try! However, I found the late-night options to be lacking, as the bars didn't stay open late other than room service.
Facilities

With a world-class spa and an very nice range of services, I was truly pampered. I found the spa treatments to be divine, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was serene and immaculate.
